Your child will be participating in a developmental art, music and movement, and thematic learning program geared toward accumulating skills that will be important to future intellectual accomplishments.
Thematic teaching units involve a group of correlated activities that are designed around topics or themes and cross several areas of the curriculum. They provide an environment that fosters and encourages process learning and active involvement of ALL students. They build on students' interests and prior knowledge by focusing on topics relevant to their lives. They help children relate to real-life experiences and build on what they know. M.A.C.’s thematic learning program addresses the diverse learning styles of all children.
In our childcare and preschool programs instruction is geared to the child’s needs in the areas of:

• Large and small muscle control
• Hand-eye coordination
• Kinesthetic awareness
• Creative socialization
• Responsibility to the group
• Individual responsibility within the group.
• New skills
• Personal worth through artistic expression
• Sharing
• Good nutrition

We believe, also, that successful early education extends beyond the classroom. M.A.C. often involves community figures in the education process by inviting them to our school for a visit.

Please call to schedule a play visit with your little one anytime.
