For the past 30 years M.A.C.’s preschool program has enriched the lives of children by using thematic units as well as music and movement, and arts and crafts. We are a state-certified center and have passed all curriculum, sanitary and safety inspections since opening in 1979.
Our 3’s Preschool Program hours are 8:30am-12:30pm
This is an activity and play-based program with an emphasis on small group interaction. One teacher mothers 7 children through the day. Each morning’s activities include free play, snack, outside play, music, story time, lunch and a special activity or project of the day.
The 4’s Preschool Program hours 8:30am-12:50pm
This program has a greater emphasis on specific themes and skills. It is activity-based with each teacher caring for 8 children. A typical morning includes free play, snack, music, sharing, outside play, the project of the day, story time and lunch.
After Kindergarten Enrichment (morning Kindergarten only) hours are 11:00am to 6:00pm
After Morning Kindergarten Enrichment includes lunch, art activities or a specific project, story time, and free play. We receive bus service from Cedaroak Primary School.
M.A.C.'s Operating Hours
We are open 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday during the school year. (September through mid June) We observe the same holidays and breaks as the West Linn School District however, we are open during their in-service days.
Quality of Staff
Each M.A.C. teacher is state certified, whether it be by education or by long term experience working in a certified preschool. In addition, all staff members are current in Child/Infant CPR and First Aid credentials. Our teachers also attend early childhood development seminars and classes to keep their skills current and their creativity refreshed throughout the year.
Clean Environment
MAC is thoroughly cleaned each week night and deep cleaned on the weekends. In addition to a clean environment, our school's health policy also helps keep illnesses down.
